Student Exchange Afternoon Adventures In the afternoon, our students participated in an engaging Thai cooking class, where they had the opportunity to sample a variety of delicious local delicacies, which several students enjoyed! At the end of the school day, both students and staff immersed themselves in the rich cultural experience of traditional Thai music and dance, a memorable highlight that left a lasting impression on everyone involved. Recap Thursday On Thursday 23rd October, primary pupils took part in a very exciting day - The Big School Council Election! Pupils and staff were honoured to welcome the Mayor of Ealing and local councillor Dee Martin to officially open our polling station. Back to School for Our Thailand Crew Day Three of our Sixth Formers' Thailand trip was a vibrant and enriching experience. Students have been spending the day at Wat Nuannoradit School, engaging in a full schedule of activities alongside local students of the same age. Our sixth formers were grouped with their Thai peers and began the morning learning about the Thai language and culture. The session concluded with a hands-on workshop where students crafted traditional Thai handicrafts a creative and memorable way to connect with local heritage. A day with giants Day two of our Thailand adventure saw our sixth formers embracing new experiences and stepping well outside their comfort zones with a visit to a local elephant sanctuary. This unforgettable day offered students the chance to connect with nature in a truly special way. The students spent time with the elephants, feeding them, learning about their stories, and even taking part in the joyful task of washing these gentle giants. An unforgettable first day in Thailand Today, our students visited the HDF Mercy Centre in Bangkok, where they generously donated toys for the pupils and presented a cheque of over £1,800 to support the centre's incredible work. This eye-opening experience was both humbling and rewarding, as our Sixth Formers connected with the children through games and meaningful interactions. On the 3rd of November, Mr. Raja and twenty sixth form students, will be visiting a Thai orphanage an experience we hope will not only touch the lives of the children we meet, but also deeply inspire our own. Over the past few weeks, our Sixth Form students have shown remarkable compassion and initiative, leading much of the fundraising themselves. Thanks to their efforts, we'll be taking a range of thoughtful gifts for the children, as well as making a cash donation to support the ongoing running of the orphanage.
