Year 4 Visit to the Science Museum
Yesterday, Year 4 enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Science Museum! We explored a wide variety of exhibits and even took part in a mini workshop where some pupils looked at old medical instruments including an antique stethoscope, which we used to listen to heartbeats.
As it was Armistice Day, we paused for the two-minute silence, taking time to reflect on its importance.
We then ventured into the space exhibits, learning fascinating facts about the moon, Earth, and what humans leave behind in space including how many bags of poo astronauts have left there!
Later, we explored "Making the Modern World," where we discovered how cars, machines, and planes have changed over time.
Throughout the day, the children showed excellent behaviour, curiosity, and energy even after lots of walking! It was a wonderful day of learning and discovery.
