Safeguarding

Child protection and safeguarding

Alec Reed Academy takes its responsibility for child protection and safeguarding very seriously. We will always seek to work in the best interests of our children and young people.

What to do if you are worried about the safety of a child

If you have specific concerns about a child's safety, speak to your child’s SaFE Worker or any member of ARA’s Child Protection Team. You can also contact the Ealing Local Authority Child Protection Designated Officer Farrah Rahman – RahmanFa@ealing.gov.uk / 02088258364 to pass on your concerns.

Keeping children safe

Keeping children safe on the internet and social media can feel like a very challenging task. The National Society for the Protection of Children from Cruelty (NSPCC) has an excellent website with clear, practical and helpful advice. Please click on the link below to access this site.
