On Tuesday 28^th January 2020, Protection Approaches paid a visit to Alec Reed Academy to help our pupils and staff mark the 75^th Anniversary of Holocaust Memorial Day.

Protection Approaches are the UK's only charity committed to ending all identity-based violence. They do this through engagement with young people and communities by running workshops and providing the youth with the knowledge and understanding of why we should all support one another.

They delivered a range of meaningful workshops to our year 7, 8, 10, 11, 12 & 13’s. Providing us all with a very moving experience, every student made a promise to stand together with those who face prejudice and make our school a kinder and safer place to be.
