We have numerous facilities on offer that are available to hire during our opening hours including Multi-use sports hall, Gymnasium with Climbing Wall, Dance Studio, Floodlit Artificial Training Pitch, Multi-use Games area, Classrooms equipped with ICT, and a state of the art 187 seat Theatre.

The Community Sports Centre Assistant is responsible to the Community Sports Centre Manager for the day to day requirements of the Community Sports Centre including the facility programme and its safe, effective and efficient operations, all in accordance with the contract specification. The delivery of quality service to meet and exceed customer needs is also of great importance.

Applicants must be able to work calmly under pressure and have a flexible attitude. Applicants must also be reliable, conscientious and responsible along with demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills. Professional/Vocational qualifications in Sports & Leisure along with First Aid Training is desirable but not essential as First Aid training will be provided. The role is on a zero hours contract, with flexible hours paying £8.52 per hour inclusive of holiday pay. The Academy offers free on-site parking, free use of the gym and subsidised meals.
