ICT TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE
Salary: £156 per week

The role mainly involves supporting the ICT Helpdesk to provide a responsive service to staff and students, checking computer equipment and supporting the smooth running of ICT services within the Academy. There is also Technician support required in the Performing Arts department involving supporting technology and other resources and equipment.
You will need to be knowledgeable in diagnosing hardware/software faults and solving technical and applications problems, experience of configuring and installing new computer equipment, working knowledge of Network/Server based technologies and good customer care skills. The role is working Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm, inclusive of college release time, normally one day a week. The apprenticeship role is fixed-term for the duration of the Apprenticeship Assessment which is approximately 24 months. The course on offer is Infrastructure Technician Level 3 based at Uxbridge College. The role and course is to start as soon as possible.
