Safeguarding Support During the School Holidays

As we approach the school holiday period, we would like to remind parents, carers and students of the safeguarding arrangements in place to help ensure that all young people remain safe and supported.

If a Student Has a Safeguarding Concern

During the holidays, students should speak to a parent or carer about any safeguarding concerns they may have. Where there is an immediate risk of harm, concerns should be reported directly to the Police.

If a student feels unable to speak with a parent or carer, they can contact Childline for free, confidential support:

If Parents or Carers Have a Safeguarding Concern

Parents and carers should report any safeguarding concerns, including concerns relating to other children or young people, to the appropriate agency without delay. If there is an immediate danger, please contact the Police on 999.

School Holiday Arrangements

Please note that during school closure periods, the school is unable to investigate or respond to safeguarding concerns in the usual way, as students are not on site and staff are on annual leave.
However, as with schools across Ealing and nationally, the school maintains an on-call safeguarding arrangement during holiday periods. This enables external agencies to contact the school in the event of an emergency or where information needs to be shared to support a child’s safety and welfare.
