HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT

We have an exciting new opportunity for someone with HR experience, who wants to work part time in a school environment and has strong administrative and communication skills.
Key responsibilities include providing support to the HR Manager in terms of recruitment administration, input of absence information, maintenance of the Single Central Record, ensuring all contracts of employment and references are returned, and vetting checks such as DBS and Barred List checks are carried out.
Applicants should have experience of HR administration, and hold GCSE Grade C or above in English & Mathematics (or equivalent). We are looking for a proactive individual who has strong organisational and administrative skills, excellent communication skills and who holds high standards of customer service, honesty, sensitivity and trustworthiness.
The working hours are 5 mornings a week, 4 hours a day, with some flexibility regarding start time. This post lends itself to either term time or full year round working.
