PRIMARY &/OR SECONDARY STUDENT SUPERVISOR (LUNCHTIME SMSA)

Do you want to make a real difference, one that really means something? We are looking for motivated individuals with the drive, leadership skills and assertiveness to work in the Primary and/or Secondary Phase as a lunch time Student Supervisor. The positions are to start as soon as possible.
Applicants should have experience of implementing discipline to students in a break-time context, for example experience of giving clear instructions capable of being understood by children; and experience of dealing with emergencies such as accident, fire or intruders. Applications from those without direct experience in a school will also be considered if they demonstrate experience in interacting with children and hold suitable transferable skills.
The position is to work Monday to Friday normally from 12pm-2pm however at present due to ensuring effective social distancing at lunch times the hours are from 11.30am-1.30pm. We expect staff to arrive 5 minutes early for debriefs. This role is a great stepping stone to gain further personal development and training in an Education setting which can support career development.
The Academy is in outer London but with Inner London pay and offers free on site parking, free use of the gym, subsidised meals and family friendly policies including dependents entitlement.
Since we’re just off the A40 at the Target Roundabout, travel connections are first-rate, with the A40/M25/M4/North Circular within easy reach and the Central Line Station just a short Bus ride away.
Rest assured that during this time we are taking all precautions to ensure the safety of our staff and students. Face masks are worn at all times in the corridor by staff and students and social distancing is enforced. Full PPE can be provided and staff are allowed to wear masks as frequently as they wish.
