Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

We have the exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced staff in a high quality environment in the role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. We are based in West London/Ealing. This position is to commence in September 2025.
The role is working Monday to Friday on a term-time plus basis, Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. Due to the nature of the role, additional hours may occasionally be required at short notice. The salary includes an additional 11 days per year to cover any necessary work outside regular hours, such as after-school commitments or responding to serious safeguarding incidents.
Skills & Experience needed:
• The role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead is to support the DSL to ensure that appropriate arrangements for keeping children and young people safe are in place at ARA
• Significant experience of working in a related area of work as well as being educated to GCSE level / Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent
• Applicants must have an understanding of legislation relating to pupil attendance and safeguarding; ability to keep up to date with new legislation and guidance and advise others
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes, including home visits would be desirable.
